I definitely wasn’t always one of the bigger guys. I totally remember going to the gym and looking at all of the big guys wishing I was them, hoping I was them, if only I could be that big. I spent countless hours reading information, getting confused, feeling like I was never going to figure it out. Completely frustrated that I thought I knew what I was doing and it just wasn’t translating into the results I thought my efforts deserved. It was really a long time before I started to figure things out and was finally able to convert that knowledge into improving my physique dramatically, along with many of the people that trusted me enough along the way to help them transform theirs as well.
WHAT I WILL DO FOR YOU…

My coaching program helps you to both get the results you want and teaches you how to keep those results going. Now I don’t have any shortcuts, it’s going to be hard work, but I also don’t believe in floundering around aimlessly on forums, talking to people in the gym, and in the end just getting confused by all of the BS out there. I help you sort through that stuff. I will walk you through the training, diet and supplement strategies, providing you with cutting edge knowledge that will completely blow away anything you have done in the past.

HOW I GOT HERE
Believe it or not, I’m formally trained as an accountant. That’s right, I’m a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), or at least I was in a former life. I took the completely wrong career path and followed where the money was and not my passion, which is helping you. So how the hell did I get to be the person you are reading about today?
Well it all started for me back in my first year university. I played a lot of sports growing up but I didn’t think I would have time for any major commitments while I was studying. So I figured this would be a good time to starting weightlifting so that I could stay in decent shape and be able to do it on my own schedule without any real obligations. I remember this one time in particular, it’s still so vivid to me, it was during frosh week this one guy took off his shirt and all the girls went crazy. I definitely wanted to be that guy and it always stuck with me
So I made my first trip into a real gym ever and wow, were there some big guys around. I actually remember at my first ever gym session seeing one guy in particular that became a major role model for me. His name was Nick and he was the biggest guy in the gym. Everyone seemed to know him, talk to him, and in return he always appeared humble and responsive to everyone else.
Anyhow, like most people, I didn’t know much about diet or training and what I did know came from Flex magazine and easily accessible bodybuilding forums aka bro science. This provided the basis of what I did for my first year training and although I made some OK, results, it quickly became apparent that I needed to bolster my knowledge base quite a bit. It was also at this time that I decided that I needed some more reliable information than what I was getting from magazines. So I decided to take a look at the text books they had on campus.
Even though I was a business major, I read more about physiology and nutrition than I did in the courses I was enrolled in (this should have been my first clue that I chose the wrong major). I didn’t read just anything though, I went to the kinesiology section in the university book store and spent my government funded money that was supposed to be used for my business education and spent it buying books that had nothing at all to do with what I was studying.
I read physiology texts, nutrition texts, medical texts and built my knowledge foundation with good hard science. I started taking this information and using all of it to sculpt the body I wanted. I certainly didn’t get it all right when I started however. It was a long battle, filled with many frustrations and let downs before I finally began figuring it all out.
As I progressed and my physique improved, I also gained the trust of most of the guys at the various gyms I trained at. I started to become known as one of “go to” guys for training and nutritional advice and I used my knowledge to help them, just like I did myself. I took on their programs and very quickly found out that not everyone grew like me or dieted like me. It was during this time that I learned what the textbooks couldn’t teach me and that was how to put all of this information into a practical package that would benefit more than just myself. This was a tough learning curve but in this critical time of my education, I was able to master not only how to train myself but how to train others who had completely different genetics, metabolisms and body types.
After a few more years of this I was able to take not only myself to the bodybuilding stage, but many of the guys that trained under me as well. Unfortunately, shortly after winning the overall title at my last show, I suffered an injury that ended my stage aspirations but my thirst for knowledge continued to grow.
So that takes us to today… It has been nearly 15 years since I picked up that text book in my first year of university. Since that time I have trained and consulted with hundreds of people and finally took the most meaningful step in my life and walked away from a lucrative corporate job to be able to pursue my absolute passion of training and sharing my knowledge with every person that has ever struggled tirelessly in the gym, fighting to take their body to that next level they know they are capable of.
